Course Goal
This theory course covers the basics of designing and statistically analyzing experiments. This software-independent course is also suitable for participants who do not use Statistica. In order to deepen the understanding of the covered topics, participants will interactively work through a series of practical examples using Statistica.
Target group
This course is aimed at professionals from various industries who work in research and development or quality assurance and are interested in learning the basic principles of designing and analyzing experiments.
Course contents
This course is a practical guide for the various topics and concepts of Design of Experiments. In specific, the following topics will be covered:
The training consists of introductions to the above-mentioned topics and their fields of application. Various examples from different industrial problems will be used to underline the practical importance of the covered topics.
Requirements
Basic knowledge in statistics is required. Experience in designing and analyzing experiments is not required.
Complementary courses
Participants who require preparational training are recommended to enroll in our theory courses "Introduction to Statistics" (STA1). Suitable follow-up complementary course is "Linear models" (STA2). To further extend the knowledge regarding Statistica's analytical tools, we recommend the course "Statistica Analytics" (ANL1).
