Statistica automation (ATM)
Training course objectives
The aim of this product course is to familiarize the participants with the automation tools of the Statistica data analysis software. The participants will get an introduction to the basics and application possibilities of the Statistica Visual Basic macro language.
Target group
This course addresses all professionals in service or industrial companies who wish to use the Statistica software to generate automated data analysis or analysis reports for routine tasks.
Course contents
Statistica Visual Basic can be used to control almost any Statistica functionality. The functionalities of the modern Statistica project interfaces (workspaces) or the software solution Statistica Enterprise can also be automated in a variety of ways.
The subjects
- Recording of macros
- Development environment and object model
- Working with Statistica spreadsheets
- Work with analyses, graphs, and workbooks
- User dialogue
- Creation of individual workspace nodes
- Examples of enterprise programming
The training consists of an explanation of the mentioned topics and the familiarization of the training participants within the framework of jointly created example macros.
Requirements
This course requires program knowledge obtained in the "Statistica Introduction (STE)” course. In order to fully benefit from the training, participants should have basic knowledge of Visual Basic or a comparable programming language. A detailed explanation of the general programming techniques mentioned in each case is not provided in the context of this standard course.
