Statistica Quality Control Charts (QRK)

Target:
The aim of this product course is to familiarize students with the tools of the Statistica data analysis package offered in the Quality Control Charts modules. The participants should get an overview of the most important features of these modules and control the result output with the corresponding dialog interfaces.

Target group:
This course is aimed at quality assurance specialists in industrial companies who wish to monitor continuous production processes using Statistica software.

Course contents:

This course covers the various control charts for variable characteristics offered in Statistica and the technical possibilities for using the analytical options for efficient process monitoring.

The topics:

  • Types of control charts, Shewart charts for variable characteristics
  • Control limits, warning limits and specification limits
  • Process capability, Six-Sigma graphs
  • Runs test rules for early warning systems
  • Online control charts
  • Individuals & moving range charts
  • Sample sets with variable specifications
  • Generating QC charts with Statistica workspace nodes

The training consists of a short explanation of the mentioned procedures and the independent induction of the training participants within the scope of exercises. Examples in our standard courses are generally understandable data sets from different application areas.

Prerequisites:
This course requires program knowledge from the course Statistica Introduction (STE). In order to fully benefit from the training, participants should be familiar with the graphical user interface of the Windows operating system.

The course Statistica Enterprise Manager (ENT) is a supplementary product course.
