Conditions of participation for trainings

I accept the following terms and conditions for chargeable events:

1. The registration is binding. Upon receipt of the course registration, the participant will receive a confirmation of registration.
2. Cancellation on the part of the customer: Participation can be canceled in writing up to 4 weeks before the start of the course without any cancellation fees. In case of cancellation up to 2 weeks before the beginning of the course, 50% of the course price will be charged as cancellation fee. If canceled later or in case of no-show, full course fees will apply.
3. StatSoft reserves the right not to perform the respective courses if a required minimum number of participants is not reached or to cancel individual participants if a maximum number of participants is exceeded. StatSoft informs the participants of a cancellation at least 10 days before the beginning of the course. If an event has to be canceled due to force majeure, lecturer's absence or due to another unforeseeable event, this can also happen at short notice. In such cases, StatSoft will offer a replacement date or reimburse any course fees already paid.
4. The course fee is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice without deduction.
5. The choice of the course is the responsibility of the participant. The training sessions are designed by qualified personnel so that an average attentive participant can reach the training goal. A success is not owed.
6. Course materials provided by StatSoft are provided to participants only for personal use. The copyrights are owned by StatSoft, or StatSoft has its own right to use and distribute them within the scope of the training. Reproduction, even of parts, is prohibited.
7. If computers are provided to participants for educational and training purposes, participants are prohibited from using data carriers that have not been approved by StatSoft for training on the computers. Data provided by StatSoft may not be downloaded, copied, or stored on other media. The Participants and the Client are liable to StatSoft for any damages and consequential damages resulting from an infringement, including any claims asserted against StatSoft by third parties, in an unlimited amount.
